Wildlife angelica is a biennial or a short-lived perennial which is reproduced by seeds. If you want to grow it like a perennial remove spent flowers before seeds are formed. This way it stays in a clump. Otherwise it will come out from seeds which produce plants that flower in their second year. Grow it in fertile, constantly moist soil of any pH, in full sun or light shade. The flowers attract wasps. Hardy to min. -24C (USDA zone 6), possibly more.
